Description

2024 Senior Games General Registration must be completed prior to registering for any individual 2024 Senior Games Event.

Charlotte County "Fit for Life" Senior Games provides a fulfilling and rewarding experience for all participants. Our Olympic-style events focus on athletic competition, camaraderie and recreational opportunities. Thes local games are sanctioned by the Florida Sports Foundation, and some serve as qualifiers for the Florida Senior Games State Championships held each December.

Eligibility

Open to amateur athletes, 50 years of age and over as of December 31, 2024.

Age Divisions

Age divisions for single competitions are: 50-54. 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+.

Note: On occasion, older individuals may be seeded in a younger age division so they may compete. If an older individual medals in a lower age division, provision will be made for the next place finisher in that age division to medal as well.

Entry Fees

Entry fees are $10.00/event.
Swimming and Track & Field may enter a maximum of four (4) events. For example, an individual desiring to participate in Swimming pays a $10.00 entry fee and may participate in the 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard backstroke, 200 yard breaststroke, and 200 yard freestyle.
For doubles events and team events, each partner must register and pay separately.
Golf & Bowling have additional Facility Fees due at time of event, paid directly to the facility.
Charlotte County accepts VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover & Diners Club cards as forms of payment.

Kid's Camp Connection

Do you enjoy giving back to the community? Your donation to Kids Camp Connection assists families in need with their summer camp and swimming lesson expenses. All families requesting assistance must be qualified and live in Charlotte County.

Awards

Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be presented in each age division for all events. If you are unable to stay or do not receive your medal at the event, you may pick it up the week after Senior Games are completed at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park Recreation Center, 6961 San Casa Drive, Englewood Florida or call 941-681-3760.

"Fit For Life" Senior Game T-Shirts

T-Shirts will only be ordered for participants who register for 2024 "Fit for Life" Senior Games prior to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Refunds

Entry fees will only be refunded if an event is cancelled.
