Description

Thurston Before Care serves to provide families with a safe, healthy, and stable environment for their children before school. This section is for AM care at Thurston on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you require care on Tuesdays and Thursdays please also register for activity number 9011.246.

Activity meeting dates

This program runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:15am to the morning bell (8:45am).

  • Families in need Mon-Fri AM sessions will need to complete separate registrations for each session.
  • The Before/After Care Program will follow district guidelines for masking and COVID-19 safety.
  • The Before/After Care Program Parent Handbook will be sent to families individually.
  • We understand how important before and after school care is to our AAPS families. Rec & Ed's Before/After Care program promotes student's wellbeing through enrichment activities, positive relationships, and a safe, welcoming environment. These programs are available to families based on current and ongoing staffing.
  • As an organization, we must balance paying employees a competitive wage and benefits with keeping the prices affordable for families. Programs are available to families needing financial assistance who meet income eligibility requirements.
