CAMPING TRIP: 4 Days- 3 Nights: Lake Del Valle, Livermore

Week 3: 6/30 - 7/3: Camping at Lake Del Valle (Mon- Thu)
Mon.: Sunol Paintballing & Camping at Lake Del Valle
Tue.: Camping at Lake Del Valle 8:00 AM - OVERNIGHT
Wed.: Camping at Lake Del Valle - 8:00 AM - OVERNIGHT
Thurs.: Camping Trip Returns at UTC at 3:30pm - 5:30 p.m.
Fri.: 4th of July, No CAMP
*On MONDAY June 30, you may drop your child off as early as 8:00 AM (but no later than 9:30 am) at the Underground Teen Center Bus will leave promptly at 9:30 AM. Please send your child with a packed lunch for Monday at Paintball and refillable water bottle (all other days meals will be included).
On Monday before we get to the camp site, get ready for an adrenaline pumping time at Sunol Paintball. Paintball offers a fun and exciting environment for a competitive and team oriented experience with various setting from wooded areas to open fields. All safety rules and equipment will be provided.
- A signed waiver is required for PAINTBALLING. If the waiver is not signed prior to the day of the trip, your tween will not be able to attend and parents will be called.
Lake Del Valle will offer many experiences from a night hike by an official ranger, fishing at the lake (bring your own poles), swimming and lots more.
On Thursday 7/3 campers will return to Underground no later than 3:30pm, and may be picked-up at that time, or as late as 5:30pm.
Items to bring for camping:
- Sleeping bag, pillow, blanket, sleeping pad
- Appropriate clothing for 3 days of camping (active clothing, warm weather during day, cold at night, pajamas)
- Closed toed-shoes appropriate for being active outdoors
- Towel and toiletries (soap/ shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
- Hat and/or sunglasses
- Sunscreen and insect repellent (ARPD will have extra)
- Refillable water bottle with lid
*ARPD will supply tents, but campers are welcome to bring their own (small tents only please).
Cancellation and Withdrawal Fee: You must cancel or withdraw 14 DAYS before the program starts to receive a credit on your ARPD account, for future use. A $20 service fee will be charged for each class, camp, or program you cancel or withdrawal from. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made thereafter. Some specialty camps or programs may have different policies and service fees. Please refer to the description or details for any specific program prior to registration.

Notes
PICK-UP & DROP OFF is at the Underground Teen Center (2203 Central Avenue at Walnut Street). If you have questions, please call (510) 747-7529. Parents will be receiving notice when the bus is 15 minutes away from the Underground Teen Center.
NOTE: End time of the Trip is approximate time bus should arrive back. Time is subject to change.

Parents must indicate:
1) whether their tween must remain with a leader on the trip, or if he/she has permission to stay with a buddy and check-in with leaders at designated times
2) whether or not their tween may sign-out themselves at the end of the trip
3) Parent/guardian email address must be provided at registration. ARPD Teen Staff will send important information via email to parents/guardians prior to trip (what to bring, drop-off times, waiver information, etc.).
