Description

Tween Summer Adventure Camp is almost HERE!! NEW LOCATION: Camp will be at Longfellow Park, 520 Lincoln Ave. Our week long sessions are FUN, engaging, educational and recreational. Each week offers affordable and well-supervised program includes an 2 AWESOME field trip, plus local walking excursions, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor physical games, special events and much more! Your tween will make new friends, try new and exciting activities and leave with amazing memories. Registration is available per week (no single days allowed).

Week 7/14 - 7/18: Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Mon.: Longfellow Park
Tue.: Longfellow Park
Wed.: Longfellow Park
Thurs.: White Water Rafting , 8:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Fri.: Paddle Boarding, Alameda

Camp will be at Longfellow Park, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.. Please send your child with a packed lunch and refillable water bottle. Simple Snack (trail mix, granola bar and fruit) will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Additional snacks (candy bars, chips and Gatorade) will be available for purchase.

On Tuesdays Depending on Trip participants will be off site for Local Trip from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, please make sure participants is on site by 9:00 am

*On Thursday July 17th , you may drop your child off as early as 8:00 AM (but no later than 8:45 am) at the Underground Teen Center. Bus will leave promptly at 8:45 AM. Please send your child with a packed lunch and refillable water bottle.
  • A signed waiver is required to attend the trip. If the waiver is not signed prior to the day of the trip, your tween will not be able to attend and parents will be called.
NOTE: End time of the Trip is approximate time bus should arrive back. Time is subject to change.


White Water Rafting: Get ready for an unforgettable adventure on the South Fork of the American River! This half day white water rafting trip offers thrilling rapids, beautiful scenery, and expert guidance. Perfect for both beginners. This trip takes you through exciting rapids while you enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the American River.

Paddle Boarding Adventure: get ready for a fun and relaxing paddle boarding experience. whether you are a first timer or seasonal pro, its a great way to get outdoors, explore the water and take in the scenic views of Alameda along the bay. Learn the basic, improve your skills and have a peaceful day

Cancellation and Withdrawal Fee: You must cancel or withdraw 14 DAYS before the program starts to receive a credit on your ARPD account, for future use. A $20 service fee will be charged for each class, camp, or program you cancel or withdrawal from. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made thereafter. Some specialty camps or programs may have different policies and service fees. Please refer to the description or details for any specific program prior to registration.

* Waiver is needed to attend trip. A valid parent/ guardian email is needed to send information. if waiver is not signed prior to day of trip, your tween/ teen will not be able to attend and parent will be asked to pick up.

Parents must indicate:
1) whether their tween must remain with a leader on the trips, or if he/she has permission to stay with a buddy and check-in with leaders at designated times; and
2) whether or not their tween may sign-in and sign-out themselves each day at 5:30pm (the end of program day).
3) Parent/guardian email address must be provided at registration. ARPD Teen Staff will send important information via email to parents/guardians prior to each camp week (what to bring, drop-off times, waiver information, etc.).
