Teen League Basketball - TEAM registration (for coaches)

*THIS IS REGISTRATION FOR OUR CO-ED TEEN BASKETBALL LEAGUE.

COST:

  • Team fee: $400
  • Individual player registration fees:

    • Alpharetta residents: FREE
    • Non-residents: $25

SEASON/LEAGUE INFO:

  • League follows boys high school basketball rules.
  • Teams must have at least 2 girls on the court at all times.
  • 8 game season plus post season tournament.
    • Teams play 1 game per week on Wednesday. Games may start as early as 6:00 PM and as late as 9:00 PM.
  • All teams will play in postseason, single elimination tournament.
  • Jerseys provided by Alpharetta Recreation and Parks (included in team fee).
  • All teams must have a parent of a player on their roster present and on the team's bench in order to play. A team without a parent will not be allowed to play and will forfeit that game.

INFO FOR CAPTAINS

  1. Register your TEAM here. Include team name.
  2. Once you have registered your team, recreation staff will open online PLAYER registration for your specific team: https://apm.activecommunities.com/alpharetta/Activity_Search?txtActivitySearch=basketball&applyFiltersDefaultValue=true&cat=Activities
  3. Every member of your team must then register online as a player on your team.
    • Registering your team does not automatically register you as a player on your team.
  • ANY PLAYER NOT REGISTERED/APPEARING ON YOUR TEAM'S ROSTER WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY.
    • Player registration will appear as: Teen Basketball - SUMMER - YOUR TEAM NAME
      • Ex: Teen Basketball - SUMMER - HAWKS
**Players must have an account in order to register. New accounts require verification before registration is allowed. Verification may take 1 full business day.
  • Players must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • Players under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian create a household account and add them as a family member. The parent/guardian can then register the player for their team.
