Description
Join Becky Postell in this one day intensive workshop. Student will be instructed in how to produce an underpainting in watercolor on Uart Paper and then continue to add pastel in a manner to keep some of the underpainting exposed.

Supply List:
Qty 3 sheets, 9x12 Uart Pastel sanded paper
Qty 3 brushes, 1/2” wide, soft haired
Watercolor palette (white ceramic dish)
Water container (a plastic container 4”x4”)
Three tubes of Windsor Newton or DaVinci Tube Watercolor Paint - Gamboge, Permanent Rose, Cobalt Blue
Pastels - set of at least 80 soft pastel or the pastels you use
3/4” masking tape
Foam Core, approximately 12” x 16,” to mount your paper
Bring your own photo references….at least three but preferable 10-20….either printed out on 5 x 7 or larger paper or have the images on an IPAD
(items in parenthesis indicates an inexpensive substitute)
