Session 1: Coping with Caregiving: Stress, Depression, Anxiety and Signs for When You Need Self-Care
Learn about the signs and symptoms of depression, anxiety and when it's critical to seek professional help, caregiver support groups, resources for respite, and best practices for self-care.

Session 2: Proactive Planning and Considerations for Changes and Transitions
This session will discuss transition points - and the medical, legal, financial considerations - to help you customize your caregiver checklist. You will receive tools and strategies for having conversations and making decisions.

Session 3: Aging Safely: How to Help Prevent Your Loved One from Falling
Discover best practices for fall prevention and sustaining safety in the home. This session is for those of you caring for a loved one who has mobility issues, sensory loss, who may have a history of frequent visits to the ER, or anyone refusing to use a cane or walker.

Session 4: Caregivers Support Group
Facilitators will encourage participants to share challenges, strategies, resources, and tips within a group discussion.
Discussion facilitated by Dave Iverson and Paula Wolfson, LCSW, Manage, Avenidas Care Partners
2:30 to 3:30pm - Come experience a special "Caregiver Cafe" facilitated by Jenn Chan where you can share your story, try free specialty coffee drinks and cookies, and see if you have won a door prize!
