Facilitator: Kirti Bassendine
Kirti Bassendine is the current Artist-in-Residence with the City of Palo Alto Public Art Program. The Artist's Residency is intended to bring greater awareness of and stimulate conversations around housing, equity, and belonging in Palo Alto. She is gathering information and stories to inform her artwork that will be displayed on King Plaza.
Join Kirti in this workshop to share your story of living in Palo Alto and create a cyanotype using items from your home or neighborhood. (Please bring flat items for your project from your home or neighborhood, e.g, plant material, keys, lace, etc).
Kirti Bassendine is a fine art photographer and storyteller based in California. her work weaves together still photography and short films to tell cultural stories. As an artist, she has always been intrigued by human relationships and how they interweave with different social and cultural contexts.
