Description
You don’t have to travel far to find a great story. In this workshop, students will learn the basics of documentary filmmaking and produce a 2-minute film about a topic that can be found in their own backyard. We’ll cover visual storytelling principles, how to craft an interesting story, how to capture the best images and sound, and how to edit. In a collaborative environment, students will share ideas and their work as they explore themes of community and connectedness.
There are 4 scholarships available for this course. Please email jnardi@blackrockcenter.org for more information.
