Sparkler 50 Yarder Strider Bike Race

Now here's a bike race for the little guys! "If your child can walk, your child can stride!" Join us for our annual 50-yard strider bike race and watch your child compete on his/her no-pedal balance bike.

The strider bike race kicks off Breckenridge's 4th of July festivities and main attractions, the Firecracker 50 and Main Street parade. Bike decorating begins at 7:45am. Racers start in Blue River Plaza then finish in front of the historical Gold Pan Saloon with plenty of time to get in place for the parade. Decorations are provided including NEW Sparkler 50 bike plates! Sign up soon -- medals go to the first 200 racers to register! Please note, there is NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION!

We have the honor of turning this awesome event into a fundraiser for the Town of Breckenridge's longest running daycare, Carriage House Early Learning Center. Come out and 'Pedal for the Playground' as a portion of the proceeds will go to a new playground for Carriage House.

Strider/ Balance Bikes are not provided. Please bring a Strider/balance bike and helmet for your child to participate.
