Calling all naturalists with a smartphone! Join the Carson City Parks, Rec & Open Space Department along with the Greenhouse Project to explore the citizen science app, iNaturalist, on an interactive & educational hike. Be a part of recording native plants & wildlife in Carson City in the ecologically diverse Rose Canyon (Foothill Garden & Trail).

Meet at the Foothill Garden, behind the Carson-Tahoe Cancer Center (1535 Medical Pkwy). Download the free iNaturalist app ahead of time at www.iNaturalist.org & create an account to make observations with. Please bring sun protection, close-toed shoes, & plenty of water.
