
5K Run/Walk Trail Series

Description
Our 5K Run/Walk trail series is held at some of our most treasured parks for trail runners and walkers: Caw Caw Interpretative Center, Johns Island County Park, and Laurel Hill County Park. Throughout the year, series participants will journey through the landscape of the Lowcountry, from swamps of cypress trees to forests of palmettos to oak alleys, with more change in their pockets and the opportunity to win 5K trail series awards and finisher medals. The awards ceremony for the series will be held at the Chili 5K Run/Walk.
To qualify, participants must register for and participate in the Chili 5K Run/Walk on November 4 and at least two more races in our series.
Open to all fitness levels and abilities.

Notes
Registration is required. On-site registration is not available. Packet pickup hosted at event site on day of race. Please view race webpage for specific information on each race. Participants ages 10-15 can register but must have an adult chaperone on-site. Chaperone is not required to register.
To qualify, participants must register for and participate in the Chili 5K Run/Walk on November 4 and at least two more races in our series. The series includes Where the Wild Things 5K Run/Walk, Mullet Haul 5K Run/Walk, Lowcountry Trail 5K Run/Walk, and Chili 5K Run/Walk.
Throughout the series, participants who place in the top ten for Overall and Age Group divisions in each race will accumulate points. In the event of a tie, Chili 5K time will be used.
Series championship awards will be distributed to Overall winners in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and Age Group division winners in 1st place.
