Description
Join us for a spring festival at historic Eppington, built in 1768 by Francis Eppes VI. Enjoy a variety of colonial activities, carriage rides, period music, storytelling, period vendors, crafters, historic trades, and living history. Meet Thomas Jefferson, Francis Eppes, and the Marquis de Lafayette.
Musical performances to be provided by The Press Gang, Harken Back String Band, Richmond Cadet Alumni Band, and a special performance of music of the American Revolution.
The house will be open for tours. Don't miss the rare opportunity to see inside the 1768 home of Francis Eppes VI and historic landmark.
There will be a colonial medicine show, African-American storytelling, historic trades demonstrations, a living history village with historical reenactors including native, Powhatan, and English colonists, and Civil War living history and artillery demonstrations.
Enjoy carriage rides and colonial period children's activities and games, musket and artillery demonstrations and much more. Concessions and craft beer will be available for purchase.
