Description
Join an environmental educator to explore the way the woods change through the seasons on a series of relaxing walks through Rockwood Park. On regular walks, participants will traverse paved and unpaved trails throughout the park and gain a unique view as the park transitions from frozen winter to vibrant, green spring.
Program Information:
-Program is held outdoors.
-Hiking footwear is recommended. Trails have periodic benches for resting.
-Distance traveled will be between 1 and 1.5 miles.
-Outdoor surfaces traveled on in this program include: paved trails, dirt trails with roots and uneven surfaces, and steep hills.
-This program includes visual and tactile elements.
Activity meeting dates
This program will meet at the Rockwood Nature Center parking lot on the following Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on the below dates:
