Description

Become a YPCE VIP (Volunteer in Parks) and give back to your community at Access Leisure Adaptive Sports Programs! This activity is for long-term volunteers, working more than 24 hours per year.

Volunteer Information
All volunteers report to the Program Coordinator and Program Staff. To get started, contact the Program Coordinator to get more information about what activities or events you can support.

VIPs can support with daily activities like:
  • Adaptive Cycling
  • Wheelchair Basketball
  • Adaptive Pickleball
  • Wheelchair Softball
  • Adult Socials
Volunteer opportunities may be conditional based upon: the City of Sacramento completing a criminal history check after you provide fingerprints to the Department of Justice and completing a mandated reporter training. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent signature, and these forms will be provided and must be signed before beginning volunteer work.
