Welcome to an extraordinary journey where gaming meets education! Our afterschool STEM Club is the perfect fusion of fun and learning for 3rd-5th graders. Join us as we dive into the immersive world of Minecraft Education, where creativity knows no bounds and every block is a building block for knowledge.
In our STEM Club, your child will:
Explore Dynamic STEM Challenges: From engineering marvels to scientific discoveries, each session presents exciting challenges that stimulate curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with Peers: Teamwork is at the heart of our program. Your child will collaborate with fellow adventurers, sharing ideas and working together to overcome obstacles.
Nurture Creativity: In Minecraft Education, imagination is the only limit. Your child will unleash their creativity as they design, build, and innovate within the game.
Develop Critical Skills: Beyond gaming, our club fosters essential skills like communication, critical thinking, and adaptability, preparing your child for success in the digital age.

Safety
CPRD’s esports programs provide the benefits of a community while supporting the safety of youth.
Addressing the Risks
Much of the risks in esports and online gaming come from anonymous, unsupervised environments where youth can be especially vulnerable.
Interactions with bad actors and communications with unverified adults
• Bullying and harassment
• Online toxicity and negativity
• Predatory risks and grooming
• Excessive screen time and imbalance with other activities
• Improper health and exercise habits
• Limited checks and balances
Safety Standards
We have taken extra steps to address these risks and support youth in providing fun and engaging educational experiences.
• Private in-person events
• Only accessible to program registrants and members
• Secured virtual environments
• Supervised interactions by screened and SafeSport trained administrators
• Utilizes age appropriate video games and content
• Provides support and balance in activities, scholastics, and health
