Description

In an increasingly global economy where change is fast-paced, constant, and unpredictable, individuals and organizations need new skills, approaches, and behaviors to stay competitive. In other words, they must adopt an "entrepreneurial mindset." The traditional, outdated methods simply aren’t effective in today’s turbulent environment, and being able to self-reflect, pivot and push forward in entirely new directions is crucial to gaining strategic advantage.

The Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile®(EMP) is an empirically-based, cutting-edge, online assessment tool based on extensive research into the traits, motivations, and skills of entrepreneurs. The EMP helps individuals and teams identify, develop and utilize their unique strengths on 14 dimensions such as Idea Generation, Execution, Future Focus, and Action Orientation to give them the advantage that’s really critical right now.

In this session, participants will take the EMP assessment, get their results, and get feedback on the assessment by a trained instructor. The feedback will assist participants to synthesize their results and plan a course of action on:
  • Understand both the concept of entrepreneurial mindset as well as their own unique profiles.
  • Leverage their entrepreneurial strengths and target areas of development, accelerate innovation, creativity and growth leadership.
  • Bring forth changes that impact the bottom line.
  • Implement fresh ideas.
  • Develop a culture that fosters an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Explore the intersection of entrepreneurship and economic development.
  • Create the opportunity for team action planning to address specific challenges.
