Description

This inquiry-based class uses wood planks, catapults, and K'nex to explore STEM concepts aligned with national educational standards. Campers learn to problem-solve and discover concepts in physics. Take up several engineering challenges. By building and investigating different designs, students learn principle of simple machines, structures, and moving parts. Build intricate structures and rides, as students understand structural design. Make 1st, 2nd and 3rd class levers with K'nex. Using wood planks, learn the principles of slope, force, and balance as you make tunnels, ramps, towers, and chutes.
