Description
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR REGIONAL SHORELINE - Join us for the 35th annual California Coastal Cleanup! Park District staff and volunteers will pick up litter and recyclables from District shoreline parks, lakes, and along creeks in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
Bring: refillable water bottle, bucket for trash, hat, gloves and sunscreen.
Wear: closed-toe shoes and layered clothing.
Directions to MLK, Jr. Regional Shoreline (Oakland): Oakport Street is a frontage road parallel to I-880. The access road to the Oakport staging area is between Zhone Way and East Creek Slough where Oakport Street crosses over (closest to EC Slough). Turn onto dirt access road from Oakport Street, follow to end. Meet at the Oakport Staging Area.
You must sign-in at the check-in table.
