Description

POINT PINOLE REGIONAL SHORELINE - Join us for the 35th annual California Coastal Cleanup! Park District staff and volunteers will pick up litter and recyclables from District shoreline parks, lakes, and along creeks in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Bring: refillable water bottle, bucket for trash, hat, gloves and sunscreen.

Wear: closed-toe shoes and layered clothing.

Directions to Pt. Pinole Regional Shoreline (Richmond): From I-80 take the Richmond Parkway exit and go west towards the Bay. Cross San Pablo Avenue and continue to the Giant Hwy exit and turn right. The park entrance is on the left, past the houses. Distance from Hwy 80 to Giant entrance is approx. 3.25 miles. From I-580 east of the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge: exit at Richmond Parkway/Castro Street and go north for approx. 5 miles. Exit at Giant Hwy and turn right. The park entrance is on the left, past the houses. Meet at the Giant Road Staging Area.
