**PROGRAM IS FULL**

LEONA CANYON REGIONAL OPEN SPACE PRESERVE (MERRITT COLLEGE PARKING LOT E): Volunteers are needed to help protect featured native plants by pulling non-native invasive grasses and shrubs, focusing on the stations of the self-guided "Local Indian Uses of Plants" trail; and focusing around the native plants that volunteers have planted in the past two years.

Lunch, tools, and gloves provided. Community service hours available for students. Heavy rain cancels.

Ages 10 years and up.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are between the ages of 13-17 and coming by yourself, it is required to bring a liability form signed by a parent/guardian.
