Notes
This native plant nursery workday is at Blackwell Forest Preserve. After you register you'll receive an email with a link to a PDF with important workday instructions and a map. Please read everything carefully before attending. If you don't receive this email, contact the Forest Preserve District at 630-206-9630 or nrvolunteer@dupageforest.org.
Volunteers under 18 cannot attend the workday alone. Minimally, there must be one adult for every eight children ages 12 to 13 and one for every 10 teens ages 14 to 17. (High school students are encouraged to volunteer in groups of two or more.)
Volunteer workdays cannot be applied to court-ordered community service. For these types of projects call the Forest Preserve District's Human Resources department at 630-933-7682.
Bring water and a snack, sunscreen, and bug spray, if needed. Restroom access may be limited. We recommend you bring your own work gloves but will have gloves you can borrow.
Please note that Forest Preserve District mask requirements and recommendations align with current Illinois guidelines.
