Learn the basics of using a bow and arrow and the proper techniques for shooting a compound bow. Equipment provided. Visit scouting.org for badge description and requirements. Ages 11 - 17. To register by phone instead, call 630-933-7248.

Notes
Use the Butterfield Road entrance and follow the signs to the archery area.
Bring your merit badge blue card. (A certified merit badge counselor will sign it after you complete the program.) Dress for the weather and do not wear loose clothing. Secure long hair and bring water and sunscreen.
For safety reasons, you can only use Forest Preserve District equipment, and you will not be able to participate if you arrive after the safety instructions at the start of the program.
