Description
Conversations about race in America tend to focus on White Americans and African Americans to the exclusion of the racialized experiences of Asians, Hispanics or Latinos, Jews and other ethnic groups. What has been these groups’ experience with racism in America? Join us in honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Month and Jewish-American Heritage Month as Claudia M. Allen, Outreach Coordinator for the Howard County Office of Human Rights & Equity, provides a historical, cultural and legislative exploration of the racialization of Asians, Latinos or Hispanics, and Jews.
