Howard County Lacrosse Girls U7

This age group is focused on teaching the basic skills of lacrosse in a cooperative and instructional environment. Program objectives are to teach the game of lacrosse, develop physical fitness and coordination, foster teamwork, and encourage and reinforce good sportsmanship. Our goal is to create a player-centered environment, which includes fun, constant active engagement, relaxed and inclusive environment, frequent changes of activity and predictable routines. Teams will have one practice during the week and a game on Saturdays starting in late April/early May with possible make-ups for weather on weekday nights. Games will employ a split squad, small sided game model to get players as many touches with the ball as possible. Score will not be kept for any scrimmages/games. Players must provide lacrosse stick, mouth guard, protective eyewear and proper footwear. Volunteer coaches are paramount to the success of the program. Coaches will be provided training, knowledge and practice planning in order to set them on the path to success. Please check www.hclacrosse.org for more information. All requests will be reviewed but may not be honored. HC LAX REFUND POLICY: A 25% administrative fee will be applied to refund requests made by Jan 16th.
