Howard County Lacrosse Girls U9

This age group is focused on teaching the basic skills of lacrosse in an instructional environment, while starting to add in more advanced gameplay including player positions. Prior participation in the preseason skills clinic is recommended but not required. Program objectives are to teach the game of lacrosse, develop physical fitness and coordination, foster teamwork, and encourage and reinforce good sportsmanship. Teams will practice once or twice a week beginning in mid to late March/early April. Games are played on Saturdays and an additional Tuesday night game will replace a practice later in the season. Games are played on a modified field size and players are generally guaranteed to play one-half of each game. Score will not be kept for scrimmages/games. Players must provide lacrosse stick, mouth guard, protective eyewear and proper footwear. Volunteer coaches are paramount to the success of the program. Coaches will be provided training, knowledge and practice planning in order to set them on the path to success. Please check www.hclacrosse.org for more information. All requests will be reviewed but may not be honored. HC LAX REFUND POLICY: A 25% administrative fee will be applied to refund requests made by Jan 16th.
