Description
Discover the unique art of encaustic painting! Also known as hot wax painting, encaustic painting involves using heated beeswax colored with a wide variety of pigments. Yep, the process smells as good as it looks- warm colors melting and moving. Learn the basics as you experiment with translucent layering, carving textures, stenciling, and drawing. Our talented instructor and studio of peers in sure to inspire. No prior painting experience necessary!
