Get ready for an open water birding extravaganza on Eagle Creek Reservoir. This event will focus on finding and identifying birds from a canoe or kayak. While birding, we may spot Great Blue Herons, Belted Kingfishers, Double Crested Cormorants, Blue-Winged Teals, Mallards and more!
We will meet at the Earth Discovery Center shelter at 9AM and review safety guidelines and open water birding goals. Masking is encouraged but not required. Canoe and kayak launch will occur at the Earth Discovery Center’s dock, which is located down the hill next to the two grey porta-potties.
