Description
Join Matthew Reeves from the Linda Hall Library as he explores Kansas City history through the lens of the railroad. From our immediate post-Civil War commercial boom to national prominence as the “Paris of the Plains,” Kansas City owes much of its good fortune to the power of the locomotive. Learn how railroads created and shaped the metro as illustrated by items from the Linda Hall Library’s collections.
