Island Center Forest Shelter
This image cannot be displayed.Picnic Shelter is located near the 188th Trailhead. The best access to Island Center Forest is on the Vashon Highway. Head west onto SW 188th Street to access the parking lot at the end of 188th; this lot can also accommodate horse trailers. Weekend Reservation Fee: $135 Weekday Reservation Fee: $120

King County Parks Facility Cancellation Policy

*Note: Facility bookings/rentals may be cancelled at any time; however, patrons will be charged a cancellation fee up to 100% of the booking/rental fee if insufficient notice is given to King County Parks.

For cancellations made within 14 business days from the date the reservation was made, patrons will be refunded 100% of their rental fee, damage deposit and extra rental fees.

For cancellations made 90 day or more in advance of booking date, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the rental fee will be assessed. You will be refunded 50% of your rental fee plus 100% of the damage deposit and any extra rental fees.

For cancellations made 89 days or fewer in advance of booking date, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the rental fee will be assessed. You will be refunded 100% of the damage deposit and any extra rental fees.
