Description
Stream studies in spring can be especially rewarding! Naturalist Mary Ann Schlegel will assist as participants use eyes, hands, and nets to capture and observe Mill Creek inhabitants. Not only should we find familiar summer insects just completing their aquatic juvenile stages, but whom we see tells us about water quality. Dress for outdoor water activity. Closed-toe shoes (not flip-flops or crocs) are required of everyone entering the stream. Register online or call (717) 295-2055 to register and prepay by noon on Friday May 6. $2.00 per person.
