Description
Tortolita Preserve offers magnificent vistas, geological curiosities and distinct plant and animal communities of the Sonoran Desert. Join a Pima County naturalist for a morning of guided exploration, wandering among the stately saguaros as we watch for birds and other wildlife that make their homes in this beautiful patch of native desert vegetation. Trekking poles are encouraged, and sure-footedness is a must. Group meets at Tortolita Preserve Trailhead, 6250 West Moore Road. Designed for ages 12 and up.
