Description
This is NOT a drop-off program. Parent participation required. Celebrate the beauty of the Piedmont through your lens in this hiking series as we explore the Preserve through seasons, light, and color. Each class will feature a different hike and habitat for shooting. Bring your own camera or even a camera phone. Absolutely no experience required. Pre-registration required (for adult and child alike).

This is NOT a drop-off program. Adult participation required.
This hike qualifies for our 100 mile hike club. Come prepared to hike approximately 2 miles on uneven terrain. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring your own water bottle.
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation follows all CDC guidelines and Governor’s orders. Participants are expected to wear a mask indoors at all times and outdoors only when participants are less than 6’ apart. At that time, we will ask everyone to wear a mask. If you cannot, you will be asked to stand more than 6’ away for everyone’s protection.
