2024 Polar Bear Plunge

Kick off the new year by plunging into Puget Sound! Costumes are welcome but not required.

• Shoes/foot protection highly recommended
• Day-of registration available, starting 10 am (No cash accepted).
• Participants get a commemorative Polar Bear Plunge fleece blanket (while supplies last)
• Discount coupons for future Metro Parks Tacoma boat and kayak rentals will be available for participants at the event.
• Warm beverages will be available
  
• Warming tents will be available

Participants are invited to walk into the water or jump in. For safety, life jackets will be available and lifeguards and divers will be stationed on the docks. Parking is located at Point Defiance Marina Boat Launch.
