January 1, 2025 - Option to select a plunge time:

Sign up online to avoid the line at the event. In-person registration begins at the event at 10 am.

No cash accepted. Credit or debit only.

Kick off the new year by plunging into Puget Sound! Costumes are welcome but not required.

Shoes/foot protection highly recommended
Day-of registration available, starting 10 am (No cash accepted).
Discount coupons for future Metro Parks Tacoma boat and kayak rentals will be available for participants at the event.
Warming tents will be available

Participants are invited to walk into the water or jump in. For safety, life jackets will be available and lifeguards and divers will be stationed on the docks. Parking is located at Point Defiance Marina Boat Launch.

Participant Swag

In addition to bragging rights, all participants will receive a commemorative collectible patch and a fleece headband (while supplies last).

ATTENTION BOATERS: The Boat Launch will be closed Jan 1, 2025 from 8 am-3 pm.
