Description
Delight in nature explorations while playing outside this summer! Follow your curiosity to map the park, discover what creatures live in a creek, and adventure through gardens in search of cool plants and pollinators. Meet live education animals up close, then hike to seek wildlife, or the clues they leave behind. Check out the waterfall and cool off at the wading pool. We’ll cap off the week on Thursday with a hike to go canoeing at Lake Hiawatha. Each day is sure to offer a summer adventure full of outdoor fun in nature!
Camp pick up is from 3-4 pm
We recognize that unstructured time is important and often hard to find, so we’ve built some into the end of the camp day. We also recognize that families have different schedules, and some need an earlier or later check out time. The naturalists don’t lead structured activities between 3-4, but provide support as campers run their own games, make art, or socialize.
* Pick up on Thursday only will be at Lake Nokomis Playground
