Water Polo U14 Coed

Introductory and advanced water polo instruction is provided. Lesson plans include conditioning, mobility drills with and without the ball, passing, shooting, basic rules of the game, individual skill development and the concept of team play and sportsmanship with scrimmages. Advancing athletes will progress to more advanced individual and team techniques taught by an experienced coaching staff from West Suburban Water Polo in preparation for competitive league play offered at various times during the year. Athletes must be able to swim 200-yards freestyle and continuously tread water for 10 minutes in an all-deep pool. The coaching staff groups participants based on their skill level and swimming ability. Participants must not be enrolled in High School to participate in this level. No class on March 30, April 6 & 20. (bs)
