Description

Dungeons and Dragons camp offers a safe space for youth new to D&D to be able to develop and play characters of their own design, learn the basics of D&D, develop friendships, build unique and fascinating stories while playing a game that focuses on building creative and real-life skills such as math, decision making, problem solving, writing and story development, and group leadership skills.
This camp will be a safe space where all ideas and opinions will be welcomed, and respect and kindness are the central focus. Campers will build confidence while engaging in active play that is designed to foster long term friendships. No prior knowledge of D&D is necessary. All supplies to play will be provided.

Level of Instruction: Beginner

Skills Learned: Creative decision making, math skills, peer to peer engagement skills, mindfulness practice, leadership, public speaking, group decision making skills, creative writing, and TTRPG gameplay.

Supplies Needed: Campers are welcome to bring dice, books, miniatures, dice trays, etc. All supplies will be provided.

If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
