Description
Bring your shovels to Pfluger Park on October 26, 2024, from 9am-noon, to celebrate Arbor Day by planting trees in one of our most popular parks! The Central Texas Woodturners will be there turning custom wooden tops for kids of all ages, Pflugerville Parks Foundation will host seed throwing to help restore some native ecosystem along the creek, and professional tree climbers from the Davey Tree Expert Company will perform safe tree climbing demonstrations.
Activities include:
- CTW turning custom tops
- Professional tree climbing demonstration
- Seed throwing
- Arts & crafts station
- Tree planting
- Tree giveaways
- Sign up to have Santree Claus (Santa's cousin) deliver a tree to your front door!
Enrollment is not required to attend but encouraged to gauge expected turn out.
