Satchmo At The Waldorf-NEW

Ride with us to this play at the WaterTower Theatre in Addison. It's a one-man, three-character play about Louis Armstrong, the greatest of all jazz trumpeters. It takes place in 1971 at New York's Waldorf-Astoria-Hotel, where Armstrong performed for the last time before his death. Reminiscing into a tape recorder about his life and work, Armstrong seeks to come to terms with his longstanding relationships. We will leave from Liberty Recreation Center. Fee covers admission to the play and transportation.
