Description: Memorial Park is Bentonville?s premier community park with 73 acres. Located on E. Central Ave. (Hwy 72) and Martin Luther King Jr Parkway. The park is home to Melvin Ford Aquatic Center, with an Olympic size pool, a separate four-board diving pool, and a wading pool featuring a rain drop fountain. The park also includes a Benton County Memorial, honoring the fallen soldiers from Benton County, and a Benton County historical settlement marker. In addition, there are twelve (12) tennis courts, four (4) sand volleyball courts, four (4) basketball courts, four (4) lighted softball fields, five (5) lighted baseball fields, eleven (11) lighted soccer fields, two (2) t-ball fields, concession stands, restrooms, playground areas, a skateboard park, a perimeter walking trail, and a covered pavilion.
