Description

Join representatives from Ride Connection to learn about Portland's public transit system. Learn how to plan trips on fixed-route bus lines, MAX light-rail, and the Portland Streetcar. Build confidence and skills in using public transit through practical demonstrations. This workshop will be followed by an optional bus ride with a Ride Connection Ambassador.

Optional TriMet trip to the Rose Quarter Transit Center lead by RideWise Travel Trainer from 2:00 until 3:00 pm, via the #4 bus
Take what you just learned and see it in action! Use Hop Fare, plan a trip on the Transit app, learn about the transit center and Max trains. There is a .2 mile walk from Matt Dishman to N Vancouver and Russell. TriMet bus fare will be covered. Bring good walking shoes and rain jacket.
