Description
Join the Richardson Urban Naturalist program on this exciting nature walk through Breckinridge Park, searching for the beautiful Trout Lily. Led by a Texas Master Naturalist, this walk is a great opportunity to learn about the natural environment we have right here in Richardson. If a parent or guardian is registered, children under 18 are free. Children 12+ can attend without a parent but must be registered.
MEETING SPOT: Please meet at the west side of the park at the south parking lot near 3501 Moroney Dr.
LIMITATIONS: This walk will be on unpaved trails and may require slight crouching at times in order to reach the more natural areas of the park where the Trout Lily plant natively grows. No drinking fountains or restrooms are available in the areas where this walk takes place, so plan accordingly. Feel free to bring water bottles, snacks, notebooks, binoculars or cameras. Long pants and closed-toe sturdy shoes are recommended.
