Kolam Workshop with Meera Agarwal

In this workshop you will learn the basics of the math-based South Indian floor art form of Kolam. These are designs drawn on a grid of dots or steps. You will be introduced to the many different types of Kolam, will be guided to create your own kolam both on the computer as well as on paper. This art form is very relaxing to create. Keep Calm & Kolam on! There is currently an art exhibit on Kolams on view in Gallery B of The Rye Arts Center by local artist and instructor of this workshop, Meera Agarwal.
