Community GROWS Camp - Dementia-Friendly

Create, play, and explore at Community GROWS (Gathering, Reaching Out, We Strengthen) Camp — a "day camp" experience where community connection is the focus. Inspired by a poem, and the resilience, and blossoming of the post-2020 memory loss community, and with recognition of program history, Community GROWS Camp activities are designed to promote joyful moments and interconnection and, perhaps, illuminate new ways of seeing the natural world, and each other. We'll be together at Camp Long, a 68-acre park with a WPA-era lodge in West Seattle, in a supportive environment, both inside and outdoors. A conversation with the Dementia-Friendly Recreation Specialist is required for 1st time participants. Please contact tamara.keefe@seattle.
