Printmaking with Botanicals

Using a gelatin or “gelli” plate and washable soy ink, we capture impressions of fallen leaves and flowers we find, then transfer onto paper. Through several demonstrated methods, we learn to build compositions in layers and experiment with resulting prints. We also explore collage and other ideas for using our prints. This is an incredibly enjoyable medium that yields stunning results. Appropriate for all levels. Materials list available at sharonartstudio.org
