By registering in any SF Recreation & Parks Department activity, you agree to the terms and conditions of the following:

I recognize that risk of injury or potential health risk may be involved in participation in the programs offered by the City of San Francisco Recreation & Park Department. I hereby willingly assume such risk of injury or health risk for myself or for the persons for whom I am lawfully responsible and assume full responsibility before, during and after my/their participation in the programs/activity offered by the City of San Francisco Recreation & Park Department.

In consideration of the acceptance of my application and the permission to participate in programs offered by the City of San Francisco Recreation & Park Department, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns hereby release, waive, and forever discharge the City of San Francisco, all other organizations, associations and companies associated with any of the programs offered by the City of San Francisco, and their respective agents, employees, officials, servants, contractors, representatives, elected and appointed officials, successors and assigns of and from all claims, demands, damages costs and actions whatsoever and however caused, arising or to arise by reason of my participation in the programs or activities or any of its associated activities.

Photo Policy:

Occasionally photos may be taken of participants in the programs, classes and activities. These photos may be used in future program guides, brochures, web site, pamphlets, flyers or news releases.

If you are registering for one of our Therapeutic Recreation programs, or would like to request inclusion support because of a disability, you must fill out our Submit Registration Information Form at sfrecpark.org/tr after you register. PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL / TRANSFER POLICY: The course withdrawal/transfer fee is $15 or 20% of the course fee, whichever is greater. The client must withdraw/transfer from the course at least one week prior to the course start date in order to receive a credit, minus the withdrawal fee. No credits will be issued if the client withdraws/transfers after this deadline.

Please note that as of 7/15/24, credit card processing fees will be paid by the customer and are not refundable.

ACCOUNT CREDITS/REFUND POLICY: The refund processing fee is 3% of the total refund amount for all payments requested from account balance credits. It may take 4 to 6 weeks for the processing of a refund check.

To withdraw from a course or to request a refund, please email sfreconline@sfgov.org or call Support Services at (415) 831-6800 during regular business hours (M-F, 9am-5pm).

WAITING LISTS: When there is less than 1 week before a class or camp starts we will not use waiting lists but will fill last minute openings on a first come first served basis. Call (415) 831-6800 for last minute openings.
