SIGN IN/OUT - For safety purposes, campers must be walked to and from the classroom by a responsible adult. Campers must also be signed in and out by an authorized adult. Campers will not be released to anyone other than the authorized adults listed on your registration form. Families will be charged an additional $5 per 15 minutes if any child has not been picked up by the designated time. Please call us if you are running late. Children who have not been picked up by 6 pm will be remanded to the custody of the St. Petersburg Police Department.


WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR - Children must provide their own unrefrigerated lunch. Children must provide two unrefrigerated snacks. Two drinks and a refillable water bottle. Each day, free lunches are available through the Summer Lunch Program. A menu will be posted in each camp. Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for the outdoors. Old clothes are best. Children must wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes. No sandals or flip flops. Sunscreen, hat, and insect repellant are recommended. NO electronic games or toys.


PERSONAL ITEMS - Please do not allow your child to bring candy, electronic games, toys, cell phones, pocket knives, silly bands, or personal collecting equipment to camp.


BEHAVIOR GUIDELINES - Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Depending on the severity of the incident, parents may be asked to pick up their child immediately and the child may be suspended from camp for a first-time infraction.


MEDICATION - Children requiring special diets, rigid eating schedules or daily medication must be willing to behave responsibly and follow parental instructions. Staff will oversee any special needs and keep all medications readily available. All should be clearly labeled and marked with the child's name and dosage (non-glass containers only). The child must self-administer eye or ear drops, inhalers, or EpiPens. Liquid medication may only be dispensed using the proper measuring spoons. Camp staff does not have available, nor will they administer, any type of aspirin unless supplied by the parent and a Medication Form is completed.
