Description
Join Parks & Rec for a 5k Fun Run at the Festival of Balloons. Sign up the whole family to race around Cook Family Park before attending the Festival of Balloons. Arrive early to view the morning hot air balloon launches (balloon activity is weather dependent), prior to the 5k Fun Run and stay after the race to enjoy food, high flying fun in the carnival, or shop the vendors.
25% of each registration will be donated to Packed with Pride
Special thanks to Washington Square Mall for their generous donation of exclusive savings to all 5K participants! This card, included in your race packet, features a QR code that gives you access to 40 unique discounts and offers throughout the mall.

- Register BEFORE June 5 to receive a race shirt!
- Registration closes June 16
- EARLY Packet Pick Up: June 20 | 4:00-6:30 PM | Fanno Creek House
- Day of Packet Pick-Up: June 21 | Enter through the Main Entrance at Tigard High School, where you'll find your name on the 5k roster. Then, make your way to Shelter 2.You can pick up your packet anytime after 7 AM.
- Cost: $20.00
- Parking: Parking is available at Tigard High School for a fee (card only). We encourage folks to carpool, find street parking in the neighborhood near Cook Family Park.
- Registering for this race grants you free access into the Balloon Festival Saturday morning BEFORE Noon. Your Race Bib is the ticket into the event.
- Race will be chip timed through Huber Timing and results will be shared and posted following the race.

Tigard Recreation Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Tigard Parks & Rec reserves the right to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a program is cancelled by Tigard Parks & Rec, a full refund or credit will be issued. Tigard Parks & Rec reserves the right to change or combine programs and will make every effort to notify participants of any changes. A request for refund, or credit, must be received in writing. Email (recreation@tigard-or.gov) is an acceptable form of communication. Refunds and credits will not be issued if the request is made after the request deadline has passed.
• Refund and credit request deadlines: For regular programs: at least five business days prior to the first day of the program. For camps: at least ten business days prior to the first day of camp.
•All requests for refund will be charged a 25% service fee based on the program’s original standard charge. This fee will not exceed $75.00 per program, per person. Refunds: All refunds are issued via check and may take an additional two to four weeks for processing. Credits: Any person may request a credit in lieu of a refund. Credits will not be charged a service fee but can only be used for other Recreation programs that use ActiveNet registration.
• Hardship refunds may be available due to illness, injury, or other special circumstances. All requests for a hardship refund need to be requested in writing and will be granted on a case-by-case basis by the Recreation Coordinator. Documentation (e.g., doctor’s note) may be required. Email (recreation@tigard-or.gov) is an acceptable form of communication. Hardship refunds are issued via check.
• There will be no refund, partial refund, or credit issued for any reason once the program has started, including for vacations or scheduling conflicts.
