Blooming Escapes & Botanical Gardens

Begin the day at the Balboa Pavilion for lunch (included) at the Harborside Restaurant. Entree choices include Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Penne Pasta, or French Dip on a French roll. Lunch includes coffee, tea, or soda, bread, and Chef's dessert. Then, we'll head over to the Sherman Library & Gardens for a self-guided tour of the nationally renowned botanical garden. The Gardens' collections include over 100 species of palms, 130 unique varieties of begonias, a lush tropical conservatory, artistic succulent and formal garden, along with a tea garden. The cultural center has a library with a collection related to the history of the Pacific Southwest and must more, featuring various collections.
